Description
Lifeline Knitting Cords are an essential for the discerning knitter.
Three pieces of 2mm silicone tubing (1 x 60 inch and 2 x 30 inch) contained in a little tin…. perfect for using while knitting a garment in the round (using the two shorter for the sleeves and the longer around the body – with enough room for you to try the garment on easily before casting off).
Simply place one end of the tube on your needle and slide the stitches across and tie the ends together. If you are working with larger needles than 5mm, just pop the end of the tube into warm water allowing it to soften before placing it over the end of your needle.
Lifelines can also be threaded through your work after a tricky piece of knitting allowing you peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that if you need to rip back your work it won’t go further than where your Lifeline in placed.
Once your project is finished, just pop them back into their little tin. Honestly, they’re a game changer!
