Refunds

Yarn for the Soul is a very small business and my sole income. Every purchase you make I am thankful for. However, I do appreciate that sometimes it is necessary to request a refund. Let me explain the terms and conditions regarding refunds and postal delays.

The Mail system is absolutely chocablock at the moment (Dec 2020) and I do understand that this is frustrating.

Should your item not arrive when you expect it to I cannot issue a refund until 21 business days have passed. Once the required 30 business days have passed I can then file a complaint and Missing Item form with Royal Mail. I can then begin to look into refunding you.

RETURNS

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since you purchased your items/s, unfortunately I am unable to offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards/vouchers
  • Downloadable items
  • Books and magazines
  • Items which were purchased on ‘sale’ and items which I no longer stock

In order to process an items return, I do need a receipt or proof of purchase. I will of course email you to inform you whether you are entitled to a refund as per these terms and refund you LESS the cost of postage.

If you are returning an item to the value of £50 or more I suggest you send it via Recorded Delivery.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
